January 08, 2018 8:24 AM | Anonymous member (Administrator)

Litigation Services is providing a free, one-hour CLE webinar on Friday, January 12 at 10 am OR 1 pm (AZ Time) on:  "ETHICS OF SELECTING & PERSUADING JURORS."

The prevalence of social media has provided attorneys with the potential to access a great deal of information (within minutes) on prospective jurors. Moreover, jurors also may use social media to post information about the attorneys and trial. We will discuss the ethical considerations of evaluating potential jurors and monitoring their social media during trial. We will also discuss the ethical considerations of using graphics to persuade jurors.

FACULTY:  Dr. Eric Rudich is Partner and Senior Litigation Consultant at Blueprint Trial Consulting.  He has worked on over 500 cases and appeared on CourtTV and MSNBC.  His doctorate degree is in social psychology from Univ. of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and he has studied jury behavior at Duke Law School.
