Gary Smith is an AV Preeminent-rated™ commercial litigation attorney, is a founding partner of Smith Saks PLC, and is a mediator/arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association.  During his 24+ years in practice, Mr. Smith has represented an assortment of clients in State and Federal courts, administrative hearings, and arbitrations.  He has also authored two legal treatises on construction law. 

Since 2010, Mr. Smith has represented a variety of cannabis industry participants, is a founding director of the Arizona Cannabis Bar Association and is a frequent lecturer on a variety of cannabis issues. 

Mr. Smith is also a founding director emeritus of the North Phoenix Bar Association.  Mr. Smith is licensed to practice law in the courts of Arizona, Colorado, New York, and North Carolina, plus various federal jurisdictions. Mr. Smith received his B.A. degree from State University of New York College at Geneseo and earned his J.D. degree from California Western School of Law.
